Both the wireless adapters purely turn your original wired CarPlay or Android Auto to wireless. They don't work with iPod.
There are slight differences between them, please be careful before buying.

1.CarlinKit 4.0 (CPC200-CP2A): Works with both iPhone and android phone but only for the car which has factory wired CarPlay

2.CarlinKit 5.0 (CPC200-2air):Works with iPhone and the original car which has wired CarPlay, or work with android phone and the original car which has wired Android Auto.
